Mark Willford, our Customer Relationship Manager, has been busy working with our suppliers to support social value projects in our local community. Social value is all about the additional benefits an organisation can bring to local people. It’s incredibly important which is why we include social value in all our contracts with suppliers.
The photo below shows Mark presenting Jean Johnson from the charity Seeds of Hope, based in Kingshurst, with Christmas puddings, turkey and mince pies supplied from Brakes to ensure Jean’s guests had plenty to fill their plates. Jean cooked lunch for about 70 elderly and vulnerable people on Christmas Day.
